The Rockhoppers Easter trip to Glenbrittle. A windy coast walk on Friday was followed by two brilliant days on the Cuillin ridge and a morning on Garbh Bheinn.

    New year in Scotland
At new year I spent a couple of days in Crianlarich with the Rockhoppers, before defecting to join some Duffers in the Glen Coe area. The weather was at best photographically uninspiring for most of the week, apart from one stunning day on Ben Nevis which yielded most of these pictures.

On the last fine day before Christmas I went for a walk with my parents over Dow Crag, Brim Fell and Swirl How.

    The Alps
A week in the Pennine Alps of Switzerland on a mountaineering course by the International School of Mountaineering - which was rather curtailed by the weather - followed by a week in the Gran Paradiso area of Italy.

    Cefn Goch
Rather a low turnout (never more than 5) at the GMC's February hut meet, as most people chickened out because of snow on the roads. On Saturday I climbed Elidir Fawr and Carnedd y Filiast with Muny and Ruth; on Sunday, as I'd forgotten my climbing gear, I went up Moel Eilio on my own.

Just a few pictures (thanks to mostly dull and/or wet weather) from a CUHWC trip to Bryn Hafod near Dinas Mawddwy.

    Glen Coe
Duffers' New Year trip staying at Tigh-phuirt. When the weather relented we managed walks on Ben Starav, the Mamores and the Wee Buachaille, with only one epic.
